More than 80 janitorial workers at Joint Base Lewis-McChord are out of work after being unexpectedly furloughed.

LAKEWOOD, Wash. — More than 80 janitorial workers at Joint Base Lewis-McChord have been out of work and without pay for weeks after being furloughed with little warning.

Halloween morning, April Ansara and her coworkers showed up for their shifts, only to learn it would be their last day.
