According to one of the owners, a majority of the money was meant to pay employees.
SEATTLE — Burglars stole thousands of dollars from Bleacher’s Sports Pub in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood on Thursday morning, and pub owners say they are now worried for their employees’ safety.
Katy McGill, who has worked at the bar for 22 years and now runs it, said accounting for everything that was taken has been draining.
“For something like this to happen is just terrible,” McGill said. “It’s a violation. Employees don’t feel safe closing here anymore.”
