Witnesses reported that Lynch called an Asian colleague “Short Round,” made comments on women’s bodies in public and shirked duties in favor of social media.
SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — An investigation into former Snoqualmie Police Chief Brian Lynch’s workplace conduct unearthed numerous incidents of inappropriate and sexual comments made to subordinates, and that he was shirking his administrative duties in favor of social media since he was hired to lead the department in 2023.
Lynch was officially terminated by the city in early April, citing “sustained violations of the City’s personnel policies and the Snoqualmie Police Department’s Standards of Conduct.”
