Infamous ‘Belltown Hellcat’ driver forbidden from using controversial vehicle

Miles Hudson is forbidden from driving his Dodge Charger, but can drive other vehicles, according to his conditions of release.

SEATTLE — An infamous driver who was arrested after filming himself driving over 100 mph on Seattle city streets will no longer be allowed to drive his “Belltown Hellcat.”

Miles Hudson, 20, was charged in late March with two counts of reckless driving. 

For months, Seattle Police Department officers could recognize the tiger-striped 2023 Dodge Charger Hellcat by its appearance but also by its sound. A police report states the custom Hellcat has a modified exhaust, amplifying the revving engine and making backfiring noises
