GIG HARBOR, Wash. — A new investigative update is offering a clearer picture of how authorities are handling the mass stabbing on Washington’s Key Peninsula that left four women dead and ended with a deputy-involved shooting.
Investigators with the Pierce County Force Investigation Team confirmed this week that the man shot and killed by a Pierce County deputy at the scene was Aleksandr Shablykin, the suspect authorities say carried out the attack.
