The closure will last through Monday morning. When I-5 reopens, the Ship Canal Bridge will be down to two lanes going northbound.
SEATTLE — Interstate 5 northbound is completely shut down this weekend through downtown Seattle.
The closure begins at 11:59 p.m. on Friday and will last until 5 a.m. on Monday, July 21. The closure starts at the I-90 interchange between SoDo and the International District, and ends at the Northeast 45th Street exit across the Ship Canal Bridge.
