The school district said it respects students freedom of speech, but didn’t explicitly encourage students to attend.
TACOMA, Wash. — More than 100 Stadium High School students walked off campus Sunday afternoon to protest, one of several student demonstrations held across western Washington.
“Now what’s spreading is spreading to the youth, and I think that’s one of the most important things because we’re like the new generation,” student Jack Tolliver said.
