A person picking up trash found the remains Sunday afternoon.
SHORELINE, Wash. — Human remains were found at a Shoreline park Sunday afternoon, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 1:30 p.m., a person picking up trash at Ronald Bog Park found the remains.
Shoreline police deputies with the King County Sheriff’s Office are investigating and determined the remains were found at a makeshift campsite.
According to deputies, the remains had been there for an extended period of time.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will work to identify the remains and determine a cause of death.
