A King County organization offers after-school programs that connect Pacific Islander students to their culture while supporting academic success and career planning
KING COUNTY, Wash. — As students across King County get ready to head back to school, a local nonprofit is stepping in to support Pacific Islander youth — not just academically, but socially and culturally.
Education with Purpose Foundation for Pacific Islanders, led by founder and Executive Director Naomi Mulitauaopele Tagaleo’o, bridges the gap between schools and Pacific Islander families, helping prepare students while strengthening family engagement.
