Gov. Bob Ferguson ordered flags to be at half-staff Monday for Memorial Day remembrance.
OLYMPIA, Wash. — Flags are lowered to half-staff Monday in recognition of Memorial Day.
According to a directive from Gov. Bob Ferguson, flags will be lowered at sunrise and raised at noon or first thing Tuesday morning. This is the fourth time flags will be at half-staff this month.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday to remember those who lost their lives while serving in the country’s armed forces.
