SEATTLE — Flags will be lowered to half-staff across Washington state on Thursday for Patriot Day, honoring the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. 

Gov. Bob Ferguson directed Washington state and U.S. flags be lowered at all state agencies on Thursday, Sept. 11 until close of business or sunset.
