A man attacked a Seattle small business owner on Sunday, leading to an arrest and community support. Three others were also hurt, police said.
SEATTLE — A fashion boutique owner is recovering this week after a man approached her from behind and tried to “gouge her eyes out.” In bystanders’ attempts to hold him down, he assaulted three other women, according to police, including two officers and another vendor.
“He made my left eye bleed,” said Jennafah Singer, a longtime Seattleite and business owner who’s originally from Brooklyn. “Yeah, his fingers were in my eyes.”
