Juan Delgado is charged with second-degree murder after his girlfriend vanished in January and her body was later recovered from the Skagit River.
MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Juan Delgado, 42, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend, Krista Hunt, whose body was recovered from the Skagit River weeks after she went missing.
Hunt was last seen with Delgado in Concrete at the end of January. Investigators say they found her blood and clumps of her hair in Delgado’s truck. After Hunt disappeared, detectives say Delgado attempted to take his own life and told police he “missed Krista.”
