HazMat response clears state health office in Seattle

HazMat crews monitored the Capitol Hill building on Friday afternoon and later determined it was safe to reoccupy.

SEATTLE — Seattle fire crews responded to a reported hazardous materials incident Friday afternoon at a commercial building in the 1700 block of East Cherry Street.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, HazMat crews monitored the building and determined it was safe to reoccupy. All units later cleared the scene and returned to service.
