Local glassware company Glassybaby arranged more than 1,000 blue and green glass votives in University Village to honor Seattle’s legendary fanbase.
SEATTLE — More than 1,000 glowing glass votives arranged in a “12” illuminated University Village on Friday night as Seahawks fans gathered for the final Blue Friday celebration before the team’s Super Bowl appearance.
Local glassware company Glassybaby hosted the event at the Village Green, featuring hand-blown blue and green glass votives with tea lights honoring Seattle’s legendary fanbase, known as the 12s.
“It’s very exciting, the last Blue Friday of the year!” said J.P. Liddle, president of Glassybaby.
