From May 2–16, Women step up to build homes and transform lives

SEATTLE — Local women are coming together to make a lasting impact in their community, one home at a time.

The annual Women Build effort organized by Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties is set to take place from May 2 through 16, offering volunteers the chance to help construct affordable housing for families in need. The initiative has been described as one of the “most empowering experiences” for those who take part.
