Fraternity offers $10,000 reward for information on fire that displaced dozens at UW

The damage is forcing 30 to 50 fraternity members out of the house just weeks before the fall quarter.

SEATTLE — A University of Washington fraternity is offering a $10,000 reward for information about a Fourth of July fire that gutted its house, displaced dozens of students, and caused an estimated $1.5 million in damage.

Cellphone video shows a group of four people lighting and throwing fireworks on Greek Row the night of the fire — appearing to target a neighboring home to the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, which suffered the most damage, according to adjuster Cassey Aguilar.
