TUMWATER, Wash. — A former Tumwater fire captain was killed in a house fire Monday morning, an Olympia firefighter alumni network announced on Facebook.
Lyall Smith was formerly with the Tumwater Fire Department Firehouse 5.
The McLane Black Lake Fire Department was called to a residential structure fire on the 3000 block of Sapp Road Southwest in Tumwater at around 7:14 a.m. Monday morning.
