Former Seattle police officers who attended Capitol riot described it as peaceful, docs show

Seattle officers in D.C. for Jan. 6 riots misled investigators, leading to their dismissal.

SEATTLE — Documents obtained by KING 5 show the full list of Seattle officers who were known to be in Washington, D.C., for the Jan. 6 riot and that two of them described the scene as peaceful to investigators. 

During interviews with Seattle’s Office of Police Accountability (OPA), former officers Alexander Everett and Caitlin Rochelle, a married couple, told investigators they didn’t see anything out of place.
