The former officer pleaded not guilty to a custodial sexual misconduct charge Monday
SHELTON, Wash. — A former corrections officer at the state prison in Shelton pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of custodial sexual misconduct and introduction of contraband after an inmate accused her of repeated sexual assault over several months.
The inmate, whom KING 5 is not identifying, described the incidents as rape.
“It was, I mean, traumatic based upon the power of position that she held over me,” the inmate said in a phone interview Monday morning.
