Former Bothell City Council member accused of killing 20-year-old woman

James McNeal, 58, is accused of killing a 20-year-old woman inside her South Seattle home sometime between April 28-30.

SEATTLE — A former Bothell City Council member is charged with murder for allegedly killing a 20-year-old woman inside her home between April 28-30, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. 

James Gregory McNeal, 58, is charged with one count of second-degree murder. He is suspected of killing Liliya Guyvoronsky, known by friends and loved ones as “Lily.” McNeal remains in jail and his next hearing is Tuesday, May 14.
