SEATTLE — A United States military expert in Seattle weighed in on potential future impacts of the Trump Administration’s strike order on Iran’s nuclear sites.
Retired U.S. Army Gen. Barry McCaffrey, a Washington state resident and former member of President Bill Clinton’s cabinet, said the coordinated airstrikes have escalated already high tensions in the region and raised concerns about potential retaliation.
“I think the obvious answer would be that the next three days, we’ll see an Iranian counterstrike of some sort aimed at the U.S.,”
