Fireworks vendors at Boom City see surge in sales

TULALIP, Wash. — Fireworks vendors at Boom City on the Tulalip Reservation are experiencing a surge in sales as customers across western Washington turn to the more than 100 firework stands amid widespread local government bans on fireworks.

The annual fireworks rush at Boom City provides crucial income for many vendors. On Friday, some stand owners said they are seeing stronger sales this year.
