A targeted firework attack damages a Pierce County home, prompting arrests.
PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — A Pierce County family is cleaning up damage to their home after suspects threw an explosive firework at their residence in what deputies are calling a targeted attack.
The blast, captured on security camera, left a gaping hole in both the porch and siding of the home on 19th Avenue East, along with chipped paint throughout the property.
“It sounded like a stick of dynamite had gone off,” said homeowner Debbie Vallejos, whose entire family was awakened by the explosion, including her 12-year-old grandson.
