When firefighters arrived, they reported flames visible from a single-story home.
SEATTLE — Firefighters responded Wednesday afternoon to a reported residential fire in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, extinguishing the blaze by 3:30 p.m.
According to the Seattle Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the 2300 block of 12th Avenue East after reports of a fire inside a residence. When firefighters arrived, they reported flames visible from a single-story home with a cellar that had been converted into a triplex.
Crews worked to access the fire through a window and quickly put water on the flames, reporting the fire as out shortly thereafter.
