A fire severely damaged Vick’s Burger Shack, leaving the family-run business without insurance coverage for losses.
SULTAN, Wash. — Driving by Vick’s Burger Shack on Highway 2 in Sultan, you might not notice anything is wrong, but inside, the restaurant is gutted — as is the family that runs it.
“I mean, it’s our whole livelihood. It’s how we support our community and ourselves and our employees,” said Jennifer Vick, owner of Vick’s Burger Shack.
