Fire crews responded to an explosion at an Arlington marijuana grow facility, with no current threat to nearby areas, according to officials.
ARLINGTON, Wash. — Fire crews responded late Thursday morning to reports of an explosion at a marijuana grow facility in Arlington.
At approximately 11:45 a.m., North County Regional Fire Authority crews were dispatched to the 1700 block of 59th Avenue Northeast following reports of an explosion inside an industrial park.
According to authorities, a fire sparked by the explosion was quickly brought under control by the building’s sprinkler system before firefighters arrived on scene.
