SEATTLE — A fire broke out early Wednesday morning at Mount Baker Park in Seattle, partially collapsing the roof on the beach bathhouse.
At around 3:30 a.m., multiple 911 callers reported that a fire was burning in the bathhouse building at Mount Baker Park. Witnesses saw flames and smoke coming out of the windows.
The Seattle Fire Department got the fire under control within 30 minutes. There was no one inside the building at the time.
Firefighters are tearing apart the ceiling and the roof to extinguish hot spots.
