Federal Way police investigating shooting with child victim for second day in a row

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — For the second day in a row, Federal Way police responded to a shooting that involved a young victim.

Police were on scene at an apartment complex Friday morning after a teen was shot inside of a unit. The teen has non-life-threatening injuries, police said, after being struck in the leg. The teen was transported to the hospital for treatment.

This comes just a day after a 2-year-old child was struck and killed during a shootout in the parking lot of an IHOP location off Southwest Campus Drive.
