The deadly fire occurred early Saturday morning. The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — Law enforcement is investigating after a man and his 9-year-old daughter were killed in a house fire over Fourth of July weekend.
Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputies were alerted to the fire in unincorporated Port Orchard around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, after one of the residents in the home called 911.
When deputies and South Kitsap Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Crews sent multiple water tenders to the location because there was no water pressure from nearby hydrants.
