Tukwila police said at 10:41 a.m., an adult woman was shot and despite life-saving measures, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect fled the scene in a white vehicle in an unknown direction after the shooting, police said.
“You could see nothing but police cars. That’s it,” said Ellen Kelly who arrived at Costco around noon on Friday. “I asked one of the attendants up there and he said he couldn’t tell me what was happening.”
Tukwila police said it is an active investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
