Farmer’s Almanac predicts higher-than-normal precipitation for Pacific Northwest in fall and winter

The Almanac says the area could see a wetter- and warmer-than-normal fall, as well as increased snowfall this winter in areas around the mountains.

WASHINGTON, USA — With only a couple months left in summer for 2025, the Farmer’s Almanac is looking ahead. The Almanac, which has released weather predictions since 1818, recently released their fall and winter weather predictions for the United States. For the Pacific Northwest, higher-than-normal precipitation is predicted. The Almanac uses lunar cycles and other information to back their predictions. Historically, they are very vague.
