SEATTLE — The family of a man shot in the head during the 2020 Capitol Hill Organized Protest filed a lawsuit against the City of Seattle on Friday.

The attorney representing Robert West, who was 14 when he was shot, allege negligence by the city left West with permanent disabilities, including the loss of his right eye, a seizure disorder and traumatic brain injury.
