The intersection has seen at least 10 crashes over the last decade, one of them fatal.
DEMING, Wash. — High school classmates Nena Pierce and Crystal Anderson didn’t really know each other until they met in a violent car crash.
“I remember being in my car and feeling it spinning and not knowing where I was going,” Pierce said. “When you go through that kind of trauma, it flips your whole understanding of everything around.”
