SEATTLE — A 31-year-old Auburn man has been charged with burglary, extortion and assault after prosecutors say he posed as a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier to get inside a Seattle home and demand cryptocurrency, according to court documents.
Ian Alexander Blair was charged in King County Superior Court with first-degree burglary, first-degree extortion, two counts of second-degree assault and first-degree criminal impersonation.
Prosecutors have asked that bail remain set at $1 million.
