SEATAC, Wash. — The FAA will reduce flights going out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) during the ongoing government shutdown, according to a list obtained by the Associated Press.
The airport will reduce flights gradually, as opposed to cutting 10% all at once, according to a statement from Port of Seattle Commissioner Sam Cho.
SEA is one among dozens across the country. The FAA plans to cut between 3,500 and 4,000 flights nationwide.
