Everett boy killed by braided cable that violated city code, new documents show

New documents showed the property owners installed the braided cable, which violated city code.

EVERETT, Wash. — It’s been two weeks since 13-year-old Emiliano ‘Emi’ Munoz was killed when his electric bike collided with a braided cable stretched between a private property fence and a post. 

City of Everett documents showed the people who owned the property alongside the cable were the ones who put it up and it was a violation of city code to install it in the first place.
