Police say a man smashed windshields at two South Tacoma Way dealerships before dawn, leaving behind damaged cars, a broken door and blood.
TACOMA, Wash — When employees opened a Tacoma car dealership early Monday morning, they were greeted by a line of vehicles with shattered windshields.
Eight cars at South Tacoma Auto had been damaged overnight, each with nearly identical impact marks across the glass.
“I’ve been here for over nine years, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” said Matt Aliabadi, vice president of sales at South Tacoma Auto.
The damage appeared deliberate — and consistent.
