Emergency crews rescue driver from truck disabled by Snohomish flood water

Rescue swimmers deployed an inflatable kayak to rescue the driver. According to Snohomish fire, the motorist refused and walked back to safety.

SNOHOMISH, Wash. — Emergency crews rescued a man from a disabled truck who drove into flood water Thursday evening, according to Snohomish Fire District 4. 

An agency spokesperson said crews responded to the 10100 block of Old Snohomish Road at 6:15 p.m. Thursday evening to assist Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies for a vehicle in flood waters.
