Parents of a 15-year-old student found “concerning” text messages, which led to the Edmonds-Woodway teaching assistant’s arrest on Monday.
EDMONDS, Wash. — A long-time teaching assistant at Edmonds-Woodway High School was arrested on Monday after a student’s parents found “concerning” text messages.
The Edmonds Police Department said the 46-year-old teaching assistant appeared to have an “ongoing sexual relationship” with a 15-year-old girl that began nearly five years ago.
Edmonds School District officials said the man worked as a paraeducator at Edmonds-Woodway High School and Madrona K-8.
