DUI suspect died of ‘multiple stab wounds’ from officer during struggle at Clark County testing facility, report says

The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death of Marc Fogel a homicide after Deputy Bryson Layton stabbed him multiple times.

VANCOUVER, Wash — Marc Fogle, 54, of Clackamas, Ore., died from “multiple stab wounds of torso,” according to the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office, which ruled the death a homicide.

The incident began when deputies responded to a crash near Northeast 14th Court and Northeast Minnehaha Street in Vancouver at approximately 10:58 p.m. on May 7, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.
