THURSTON COUNTY, Wash — The driver suspected of hitting a man and his dog while they crossed the street in Thurston County and driving off was arrested last week.
The man, who is expected to be arraigned Wednesday, is expected to face charges of vehicular assault, hit-and-run, and animal cruelty. The collision killed the dog and left the man injured.
