SEATTLE — A woman has died after she was hit by a car in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood on Monday night, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Seattle firefighters and officers responded to the scene near East Pine Street and Bellevue Avenue just after 8 p.m. on Monday night. The woman was crossing in or a near a crosswalk when she was hit, police said.
The woman was trapped under the driver’s car and firefighters worked to rescue her, according to Seattle Fire.
