State patrol said a man thrown from his car regained consciousness and threatened a bystander before fleeing. He was located later Sunday.
A rollover crash early Sunday on southbound Interstate 5 near the border of King and Pierce counties led to a highway shutdown after the driver was thrown from the vehicle and allegedly pulled a gun on someone trying to help, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Southbound I-5 was completely blocked for what the patrol described as containment, but later reopened.
