‘Dramatic’ rescue made by crews of drivers trapped in swiftwaters near Fall City

Helicopter crews in east King County rescued two individuals stranded by floodwaters.

KING COUNTY, Wash. — First responders in east King County shared video of a dramatic helicopter rescue in Fall City on Wednesday night after two people were stuck in flood waters.

Torrential rains have caused flooding across western Washington, including from the Snoqualmie River near Fall City, Carnation and Snoqualmie Falls. Crews from Eastside Fire and Rescue have been active throughout the week, keeping people safe in the area.
