The only support group for domestic violence survivors in all of Island County is losing half of its staff.
COUPEVILLE, Wash. — An Island County program that helped Lauren and her 5-year-old daughter after a harrowing experience with domestic violence is being threatened by federal funding cuts.
Lauren left her ex in Utah, traveling to stay with family in Washington. Within a month he found the pair, stalking Lauren and her little girl.
