Debris flow closes eastbound I-90, traps 3 cars

All lanes are closed at milepost 30. There is no estimated time of reopening.

NORTH BEND, Wash — Eastbound Interstate 90 near North Bend is closed after a debris flow trapped three cars Wednesday afternoon.

The slide was reported around 1:15 p.m. at milepost 30. There is no estimated time for the roadway to reopen, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

All occupants were able to exit the vehicles. No injuries have been reported.

An atmospheric river is bringing widespread impacts across the region, and officials urge drivers to follow all road signs and closures.
