CVS has not disclosed whether any other Bartell-branded pharmacies will remain open nor which locations would undergo the change.
SEATTLE — CVS Pharmacy plans to rebrand 20 Bartell Drugs stores in Washington state as part of its acquisition of 64 Rite Aid locations in the Pacific Northwest, a company spokesperson confirmed.
The affected stores are among the last remaining Bartell Drugs locations still in operation. CVS has not disclosed whether any other Bartell-branded pharmacies will remain open or if other retailers have purchased additional assets from the regional chain. The company did not immediately divulge which Bartell locations would be rebranded.
