Court docs detail alleged trafficking case at Bremerton motel

Investigators say the case began after a woman escaped from a Bremerton motel room.

BREMERTON, Wash. — Two people have been charged in Kitsap County in a human trafficking case tied to a Bremerton motel after police said the pair were found in Tennessee and brought back to Washington.

Sakadia Joanne Greene, 38, and Frederick Dwayne Garth Sr., 50, were each charged with second-degree human trafficking in Kitsap County Superior Court.

According to court documents and investigators, on July 9, 2025, at the Baymont Inn on Kitsap Way in Bremerton, Greene and Garth recruited and harbored a woman for the purpose of commercial sex
