EVERETT, Wash. — After a 26-foot boat sank in Possession Sound near Everett on Wednesday, the Everett Fire Department announced that evening the operation had shifted to a recovery effort for three missing people.
Around 1 p.m., police and fire agencies received multiple 911 calls about a sinking boat about 200 feet from shore.
One person, a man in his 50s, was rescued by a passing boater. He was taken to the hospital, but is expected to survive,
